The Odyssey 31M-PC2150 is a 12 volt 2150CA/1150CCA 100 Ah drycell battery w/ dual 5/16 stud terminals and SAE automotive posts. This battery has 2150 cranking amps and 1150 cold cranking amps. The Odyssey 31M-PC2150 is a true deep cycle battery capable of being discharged and recharged over 400 times without any decrease in capacity making it one of the most best marine batteries for heavy drain applications. Odyssey's design prevents the internal plates from corrosion and sulfating, the main cause for battery failure. The pure lead design allow is to be charged at up to 15.2 volts at 50 amps making for a very fast recharge. Any charger or alternator will be sufficient to charge the Odyssey 31M-PC2150. There is a new pure lead AGM manufacturer in the country and they are taking on the Odyssey 31M-PC2150. Designed by the creator of the PC2150, Dr. Frank Fleming, the Northstar PL-AGM 31M uses a slightly high plate compression giving it a high nominal capacity. These batteries are currently in hot demand marine and other deep cycle applications. -

Never has any battery manufacturer accomplished what Odyssey has by pairing a starting battery with a deep cycle battery. Some boats require both a starting battery and a house battery (deep cycle). With the 31M-PC2150 you only need one.
