The Odyssey 75/86-PC1230DT is a 12 volt 1230CA/710CCA 55 Ah drycell battery w/ top and side automotive SAE terminals. Odyssey's long life (8-12 years) is attributed to using pure lead instead of recycled lead. This design also prevents the internal plates from sulfating and corrosion which is the number one reason for catastrophic battery failure. Odyssey batteries can be discharged completely and recharged over 400 times while not losing any capacity. This battery is a group size 75/86, fitting many american and foreign made automotive's. Any lead acid charger or automotive alternator can be used to charge the battery as long as the voltage stays below 15.2.
